• Question?

It has been a long time since the last time I update this blog XD
Rencently, I found out that I sometimes forget the things while thinking the same thing ?!
It's werid! But the question just constantly came out! You barely have times.
I always hope that the answer would suddenly come up with my mind after one night sleeping, dreaming or sth like that... But it is parrently not possible, I know. Just as what you had said"I barely understand myself, how could others understand?" Well, I don't know.
    Everything is conflicting.

  • Pride and Prejudice & Sense and Sensibility

You had told me that to compose is to fulfill.
Thank you, I learned a lot from this experience.

  • How much time we can put in a 2-hour film?

When I was on the bus yesterday night, I suddenly thought about "Brokeback Mountain" and "Crash". They were both nominated for the best film in 2005's Academy Award. But Crash won. Yesterday, I just found out that there were so many difference in the way they process "time". How to say that? Brokeback Mountain is a story about two men's love and it is a long time about 20 years. However, Crash is in a short time. And then, I tought that we could put no matter how much time we want in a 2-hour film. However, could we put a story which time is less than 2 hours? When the question in my mind, the first answear of mine is "no" - that's impossible. But I thought it over and over, finally found an example! That's "Stay" - directed by Marc Forster! I've just seen it recently. And that is totally amazing!

  • The New!

After almost two months's crap life, I thought I finally found something meaningful and something I supposed to do. That feeling is brilliant! It is just like you had been showered by freezing water from head to foot. I think I have figured out what is the most important thing in this moment. I hope I can do it better and better. And there is still one thing, "Get Over Myself!" Then, I believe I can reach it!

  • a string of losting originial intentions

Sometimes, I felt that art is like a string of losting original intentions. Today, I see one report said that because of the less of the translating person, publishers will find a novel which had been translated into French, German or English.

Why I think art as a string of losting original intentions is that every person has his/her unique view on a work. The unique view is related to many things, but the mostly is that every one has one and only soul. The losting original intentions is also like kind of misunderstanding. Just imagine yourself, have you ever hurt people by saying some words but you are not meant to say that or your mind doesn't think that. That's the point! You lost yor oringinal intentions by the listener or by saying the words.

  • My Opinion on "Reviews"

Well, I think “no one really has right to judge other people’s works even though he/she is a reviewer”. In my opinion, no matter the work is mature or not, it is worse to receive respect on condition that it is poured by heart. The thought of mine is influenced by my respected teacher and a singer’s some words. The singer had said “nowadays, every one could comment on almost every thing because of the blogs.” At first, I felt he was just finding a reason for himself to ignore those bad reviews. But after I have started searching some reviews about films on blogs, I suddenly felt “Hey! Maybe you’re right!” Why? My teacher had also taught me that “who had used the thought is not important, but what is the most important thing is that what you are pursuing?” I felt suddenly enlightened when hearing that. We couldn’t say something like that “it would be better if the director put more emotions in there”, “it would be better if you change your structure”…and so on. What had been chosen might just be what the person pursued or wanted!

The above-mentioned thoughts might be a little bit conflicting I know. So, I think the word “works” should be in a technically not bad condition.

  • Marc Forster

Recently, I am crazy about the German director - Marc Forster's Films. It is so interesting that I haven't noticed him before but I have seen "The Monster's Ball" about one year ago. Well, why I saw that film is all about Heath Ledger. I just saw a brilliant film but didn't concern about the director, cast...et cetera. But these days, I saw "Stranger than Fiction" 's DVD which I borrowed from SC's library. I think Emma Thompson is so awesome! Beside its main film, I also saw the extra parts. I was so aroused by Marc Forster's some words. Like this - "I am always looking to do something else and challenging myself in a different way. I think the main thing is that you always keep yourself in there. And every time you start a journey, every time you make a film, you start of from point zero." That's just why his film is always so different from the last one. From "The Monster's Ball", "Finding Neverland", "Stays", "Stranger than Fiction" to "The Kite Runner", we can see that phenomenon. I think that thought is marvelous! Instruments Players, actors or actresses always try their best to challenge the arts which they work for of different styles while composers or directors seldom do this. One of some reasons is that they have to find their own style. Style no doubts is quite important for them, but what's better maybe is having some soft things in there. I think Marc Forster is a vivid example.
